Producer/Writer/Editor
Hello! My name is Ty Schadt. I'm an Emmy Award-winning writer who is currently a Senior Associate Producer at WWE, where I help produce documentaries and various other forms of original content.
Along the way I've spent time at NFL Films, NBC Sports, Kentucky Sports Radio, and SiriusXM, helping produce shows like Hard Knocks, Inside the NFL, NFL Top 100, and Eli's Places.
Additionally, I have written several features that NFL Films has produced, one of which won a Sports Emmy for Most Outstanding Writing.
Below is some of my most recent work!
A feature I wrote for NFL Films about Josh McCown, a 40-year-old backup QB who had one of the most unique playoff debuts of all time, and whose career reflects one of my favorite mantras: "It's not what you look at, it's what you see."
I wrote the story at the end of an internship with NFL Films in 2020, and the following season it aired in an episode of NFL Films Presents on FS1.
In 2021, it won the Sports Emmy Award for Most Outstanding Long Form Writing.
Here's a clip from the ceremony!

Inspired by Steve Sabol's iconic film Joe and the Magic Bean, I wrote a sequel about Joe Burrow's improbable Super Bowl run.
A feature I wrote and pitched about Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard, a hometown hero who made NFL history thanks to a historic postseason play.
Saints defensive end Trey Hendrickson sacked Tom Brady on three consecutive snaps on his way to a career 2020 season.

Meet Neil Leifer, the iconic sports photographer who is connected to both the great Muhammad Ali and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson through the lens of his camera.
Re-live the shocking moment when Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak was broken.

Kentucky is my home state, and it is also the only state with its own Pro Football Hall of Fame. It was an honor to help produce the 2022 show, which saw six iconic figures become inducted.
Here is the show open I wrote.
